Rex are an old heritage breed. Coming in many colors though rex are known for there short plush coat that very soft to the touch almost velvet. They have great personalities. Rex are a larger sized rabbit usually 7-9Lbs. Rex were originally bred for there coats as well as there meat qualities they produce. So Rex are still used for this purpose today. But My rex are my Pet and show animals and are not used for what they were originally Bred for.
As of Know my Rex program is focusing on Castors and our New aditions Otters. I Am Know focusing my breeding for Black otter,Chocolate otters and Blacks with a feww castor breedings.

This doe is really nice shes on the smaller size but hold really nice fur and density to the point she doesn't want to molt it off. She has great width of body and a strong set of ears. The picture does her no justice.
